BASIC PAINTER AND FINISHER

Course No. 2207

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Provides training for personnel to a standard where they can work effectively and safely as Leading Aircraftsmen in the trade of Painter and Finisher (Ptr & Fnr) and includes instruction on workshop practice, surface preparation, painting equipment, paint control and preparation. In addition the Ptr & Fnr student will undergo a 2 day Climbing and Working at Height course (Course No. 3511), which will be held at No 4S of TT by TG5 Aerial Erector staff. The Trade Qualification Annotation (TQA) Q-L-CH will be awarded to personnel who successfully complete the course.

DURATION

16 weeks 4 days (including 2 days Climbing and Working at Height course).

All RAF nominations through PMA (CS)2B(2)b. Non-RAF through Business Development Officer

Selection is through recruitment.
