DEPTH C MAINTENANCE OF AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Air Conditioning Equipment (ACE) provide a temperature and humidity controlled environment to various Ground Radar Installations. As the operational efficiency of the Radar is dependant on the correct functioning of the Air Conditioning Units (ACUs), rapid rectification of faults is essential. This course provides suitable training for Gen Tech GSE tradesmen filling on-site posts requiring additional ACE training to perform Depth C maintenance and servicing. The Trade Qualification Annotation (TQA) Q-GE-ACE will be awarded on successful completion of the course.

NOMINATION PROCEDURE
All RAF nominations through PMA 6B(1). Non-RAF through Business Development Officer
ELIGIBILITY
Nominated Gen Tech GSE tradesmen or civilian equivalents holding Q-GR-MP.
AIM
To train Gen Tech GSE tradesmen to carry out Depth C maintenance ACE.
