Media Controller: Winamp/Foobar/iTunes (Updated: 6 May 2004)

Ported from the Original Konfabulator Widget by Jim Puls.

Using my new All-in-One Media Control Script, this widget allows you to control the media player of your choice through Samurize.

Instructions

Please follow the instructions thoroughly, if there are any points that you don't quite understand then I'll be happy to help.

1) Extract the 'Media Controller' folder in the zip file to your desktop (the rest of these instructions are written on the assumption that you have done this).

2) Execute the 'Installation.vbs' inside the extracted folder on your desktop (this creates a special instance/session of Samurize called 'Media Controller' on your desktop).

3) Execute the 'Change Player.vbs' that has just been copied into your Samurize script folder (default location C:\ Program Files \ Samurize \ Scripts\Media Controller \ Change Player.vbs).

This will bring up a dialog box asking which media player you wish to use, if, like me you use Winamp, type "1" and press enter. The script will automatically reset the widget to control your selected player.

4) Next, run the shortcut that has now been placed on the desktop.
