Ashfield can officially confirm the signings of Kevin Miller (Petershill), Ian Garscadden, James McKnight (both Shettleston), Alex Smith (Arthurlie), Stuart Aitchison (Wishaw) and Gerry Stevenson (Rob Roy). Gaffer Stevie Rankin is said to be delighted with his summer signings. Pictures will follow shortly!!

Robertson Released

Ashfield have released Veteran Goalkeeper Stuart Robertson. Robbo achieved another junior medal to add to his collection last season when the club won the second division championship. Everyone at the club wishes Big Robbo well for the future!

Brannigan Released

Ashfield have parted company with Barry Brannigan. After a season hampered by injury Barry has moved on to pastures new and signed for Cambuslang Rangers in Division 2. We would like to express out thanks and good wishes to Barry for the future!

Hannaway Released

Ashfield have parted company with Nicky Hannaway. Nicky was part of our championship winning side from last season and everyone at the club wishes him well!

Tough Test awaits at Holm Park

Ashfield will begin their Sectional League Cup campaign with a visit to Holm Park where a strong Yoker Athletic side wait. This is expected to be a good opening game where open football is expected to be played. Other fixtures can be seen on our reports page.

Ashfield Defeat Superleague Opposition

Ashfield gave an excellent performance on saturday as they defeated Johnstone Burgh 2-1 at Saracen Park. Two superb first half goals from Tony Chalmers sealed the win.

McBrearty Retires from Football

Ashfield F&AC can announce that Michael McBrearty has decided to retire from football. Michael was a pivital part of our championship winning squad last season and will be missed by everyone associated with the club. Good Luck Mick!!!

Reilly Wins Official Website Player of the Year

Jamie Reilly has won the first ever Ashfield F&AC Official Website Player of the Year award. Jamie Picked up the trophy at the clubs annual awards evening and was said to be delighted at achieving the award.
