Door Handles

We now fit as standard a new range of high security handles to all our doors. The PAS24 security handle from Hoppe provides additional security over standard handles and now meets the new updated PAS24 'Resistance To Forced Entry' specification. This specification includes a special cylinder vulnerability test to determine how easily an intruder can gain access to the door cylinder by breaking the door handle.

Most traditional standard handles have a lightweight, hollow backplate, which can be broken off to gain access to the door cylinder. Hoppe's handle has a special cylinder protection feature on the back plate which makes it harder to break and remove, thereby giving extra protection to the door cylinder.

Hoppe's security handle is also approved by the Police-backed Secured By Design (SBD) Initiative, details of which can be found here

The PAS24 handle comes in a choice of colours - Gold, White, Black and Satin Silver. At the moment chrome handles are not available for this product, but a similar level of security can be achieved by fitting a standard chrome handle and a 'snapsafe' locking cylinder, details of which are below:

Door Cylinders

In addition to the standard 'antibump' door locking cylinders we fit to all our doors, we also offer a new range of high security cylinders known as 'Snapsafe' locks, which prevent would-be thieves from breaking the cylinder and gaining entry to your dwelling, as demonstrated in the graphic below:

Door Mechanisms

 All of our doors are reinforced as standard with a combination of aluminium and steel on the door frame and the casing frame. Our door panels are MDF/Styrofoam reinforced and can be optionally specified with full MDF reinforcement for added strength.
