Both
Nick Clarke and I go back many years and have travelled and worked in many countries
during that time. Hence the idea of this challenging trip through the length
of Africa. Having worked in various countries in Africa over 13 years, my children
were born and grew up there. However the idea of the trip came from Nick, and
basically I agreed although at the time couldn’t ride a motor bike! This
was put right by a crammer bike course last October, and since then I have been
trying to get some experience. It will be trying and testing three months for
both of us to say the least.
Over the past five years since my daughter Robyn has suffered
from Anorexia our lives have been changed by the necessity to cope and accept
this terrible mental illness. During that period many people have been extremely
generous and supportive and now I feel and want to give something back for
their help. Robyn at present is coping well and long may that continue. To

Sargent on the home page.
