Compared with the life-span of Rhiwbina village, Bethany Baptist Church is very much a new-comer. Although the church was founded in 1806, it only moved to its present site in 1964.

The previous site was the one now occupied by Howells Department Store in St. Mary’s Street in the city centre. The present membership of the church is 160.

Bethany has a long history and tradition, and as such,  we are a fairly ‘traditional’ Baptist church. However, we also seek to embrace a modern approach to worship on belief that the best of the old and the new must go together.
