The children are divided into groups depending upon their age, their state of development and the year in which they are able to attend a state school.

The youngest members of the Bushbabies family - the Babies (from birth to 1 year) - are cared for in an attractively designed and self contained unit run separately from the rest of the Nursery. |

The Toddlers (mainly 1 - 2 years) have their own base room but use most of the other facilities in the Nursery. |

The Two's / Three's use all of the facilities in the Nursery (apart from the Toddler room). |

The Pre-School group use all of the facilities as above in the Nursery (apart from the Toddler room). |
Each group has its own full-time staff members assigned to oversee the activities of the group and provide stability for the group. There will be other part-time staff with the groups depending upon the number of children present.
During their time at the Nursery the children will be involved in a variety of activities to stimulate and encourage progress in all areas of development (see Early Learning Goals).
All children who are full time at the Nursery have a rest some time during the day - most of them sleep, even if only for a short time.
Provided it is not raining, the children have a session in the garden during the morning and afternoon.
