Records

There is a general summary of activities for 4/5/6 weeks in the entrance hall of each Nursery.

The Toddlers, Two's / Three's and Pre-school groups each have a general daily timetable to follow to ensure that they are given opportunities to take part in different activities and the staff attached to each group take turns to plan extra activities for their group.

Each group also has a record file where daily notes are made where necessary, and a check list is kept to ensure that all children have the opportunity to take part in all activities on offer at the Nursery.

There are more detailed assessment records kept for children in the Foundation Stage as required by Ofsted and the Nursery Education Grant Scheme. Children are assessed in the six areas of the Early Learning Goals (see Curriculum).

Both Nurseries have been fully inspected by Ofsted and have excellent reports.
