Aluminium Cylinder Head, "Clear Passage" Checking Machine. Cylinder Heads are fed into the machine, datumed, clamped and probed on 4 sides. The probes are sensed to ensure the ports, water jacket outlets and oil ways are unobstructed.
Passed heads are stamped and conveyed out. Reject heads are dyed and held awaiting attention.
Engine Block "Pin Ball" Checking Machine.
Revolutionary method for checking clear passage of water jackets and oil ways.
Casting being conveyed to the machine.
The Block is datumed, clamped and all orifices bunged.
A steel ball bearing is fired, systematically through the top of the passageways of the block, caught at the bottom, sensed and fired back to the top.
If the ball is not detected at any stage of the test the Block is dyed and will not be released until released by a supervisor.
