The Care in the Community project for Cube Housing Association, provides a purpose built home for 4 young adults, and includes individual bedrooms supported by shared living rooms, kitchen & dining room, bathroom and shower-room.

The Care in the Community project for Cube Housing Association, provides a purpose built home for 4 young adults, and includes individual bedrooms supported by shared living rooms, kitchen & dining room, bathroom and shower-room.
 
East Dunbartonshire Council, who offered the site to Cube Housing Association, fully supported the project, which included the creation of an improved public car park adjacent to the house, serving local shops.
 
Considerable excavation was required to level the site, and retention of the wooded areas behind was achieved using Timbalok proprietary interlocking sections, providing an attractive banked wall, which includes soil bags so that the wall can be screened with planting.
 
The design and finishes were carefully developed in association with the local planning department to ensure that the house blended into the village streetscape.
