metres from the Sea Front and a few minutes stroll from the town centre
that is reached through the pretty Manor Gardens. The Sports Centre and
Swimming Pool are about a five minute walk away, next to the Train and Bus
stations. A half-hourly shuttle train service connects Exmouth to main line
Exeter and is a delightful journey along the Exe Estuary. Likewise the bus service connects direct to Exeter Coach station. |
EXMOUTH is a delightful
seaside town with a wonderful sandy beach which is over 2 miles long. In the
town centre there is a pedestrian shopping centre featuring a wide range of
shops and large stores. The nearby Exmouth Indoor Market has outlets selling
a variety of goods and the town offers many high quality cafes, tea rooms and
restaurants. At the eastern end of the beach is the western end of the Jurassic Coast and a short climb leads to Orcombe Point, a National Trust area offering outstanding views. |
