Wednesday Night Laser Series 13/07/2006

A reduced turnout this week, partly due to summer holidays.

Conditions were pretty much ideal with an easterly force 2/3, though the race course ended up being smaller than was ideal due to the number of boats in the lagoon.  I think next time we have similar conditions we should use the race marks in the main loch - A longer course might also give Andy C a fairer chance in the Dart.

Thanks to Alasdair Spence for acting as OOD and organising 4 closely fought races, though the third race will be the one that counts for the series as Peter's Gooseneck managed to detach itself from the mast, meaning that he wasn't able to compete in the last one.

Isla's absence means that she drops to second place in the series for the time being at least.  However I expect normal service will be resumed when she gets back from holiday....
