Wednesday Night Series (14/05/08)

It was shorts and tee-shirt weather yet again on Wednesday night, but unlike the previous week there was a distinct lack of wind.  Again we were out in the loch, but the conditions meant that we had our longest race to date - over 1 hour 5 minutes.

We had 3 Flying 15s and 2 Lasers at the start, myself and Carol got a good start and had a healthy lead by the first mark.  The wind dropped off after this and we were unable to extend our lead significantly, and although we stayed in front, Alex managed to pip us by one second on handicap, and take the lead in the series overall.
