Friday June 20th at 7.30pm with 'The Joy of Wine' performed by Black Sheep Theatre Company.
"A good show should do several things at once to ensure you get your money's worth. This one tells you a little bit about wine, gives you a little drop to drink - and makes you laugh buckets. You may think they're off their Rijoas, but they'll make you laugh, as Shiraz the nose on your face." Daily Mail Pick of the Day
"Put that alcopop down, madam - the Reverend Andrew 'call me Andy' Jones is here to proselytise for the qualities of fine wine and send your tongue into a flurry of tingly anticipation. Unsurpassed levels of lunacy, with free tipples to numb the pain." Metro
AGE 16 UPWARDS - the show contains male nudity and free wine samples.
Tickets - £7 from 01852 500689 |
Saturday June 21st at 6pm, Black Sheep will perform 'Professor Bumm's Story Machine' , a family show for age 5 upwards
"Whose Line is it Anyway? Meets Jackanory in this improvised storytelling show for the whole family. Two eccentric eggheads race to turn ideas and suggestions from the audience into freshly minted stories with the help of their unpredictable new machine.
The audience are cast as a gathering of esteemed professors for this, the Story Machine's gala launch. However when Professor Bumm's inept assistant breaks the machine the two are forced to make the stories up themselves to avoid getting egg on their faces."
The show has enjoyed a sell-out West End run in the Trafalgar Studios and has appeared on BBC1's hit children's show The Slammer. It has also appeared on BBC Radio 4, Radio 7 and in arts centres up and down the country.
Tickets - £3 children/£4 adults from 01852 500689 |
