Peregrine Bowden was born in Kenya but was returned to the UK when just three years old. He grew up in Greater Manchester though has family roots in Derbyshire. He qualified from The Royal Veterinary College, London in 1995. He worked in several practices in the area before settling at The Charlesworth Veterinary Surgery in 2000. He became a partner in the practice in 2003 and a father shortly after. He owns a dog, two cats and a rabbit. His particular professional interests are ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery.
