We are a companion animal practice. We feel this allows us to concentrate our knowledge and skills on our chosen patients... your pets.

As a small practice we endeavour to and are usually able to provide continuity of care but still have sufficient variety in our vets that you will hopefully be able to find one to suit you and your pet. Our aim is to do what is right for you and your pet.

We have a large waiting room, four consulting rooms, two modern theatres, plus a dedicated preparation and dental procedure room, an x-ray machine (powerful enough for the largest of dogs) with automatic developing, an ultrasound machine, blood pressure measurement equipment and an extensive laboratory which allows us to provide same day results for the majority of our blood tests. We have three separate wards, which allows us to house cats away from dogs, and rabbits away from both, to reduce the stress levels of both the cats and rabbits. The dog ward has a large 'walk-in' kennel for housing giant breed dogs in addition to the usual range of kennels for other types.

The practice is located in Clay Cross, a small ex-mining town easily reached from towns such as Chesterfield, Alfreton, Matlock and Bolsover though we have some clients who come from as far away as Derby, Sheffield and Mansfield. Please click on the link to the map if you need directions.
