Biking Page

Over the last 3 years since buying amountain bike in late 1998 I've gone back to an old childhood activity I used to enjoy a great deal of - cycling! Though its no longer a case of 'small boys in the park, jumpers for goalposts', more of long distance endurance kind of rides over places such asa rough forest park near to where I live, cycle trails in Derbyshire & tough mountain bike trails in the Welsh mountains.

So far since getting the bike, I've clocked up over 3000 miles!! (to 1st January 2003) I'm impressed anyway - they soon clock up after a while. Have taken a tour from Cork to Kerry in Ireland in the past 18 months and hope to go again this year. Mostly enjoying mountain biking at Cannock Chase in the midlands. When I can find a decent link to the Chase, I'll add put it here.

These pages have been produced to capture some of those moments that I've captured on film and display them in one place for future viewing. Also have tomention a friend, Roberto, whom without his company, just wouldn't be the same on some of these rides!

All of the rides have been split up into seperate categories to clear up the scrolling and clutter. Click on a title below to view that section.

Oxford Finish!   Photo taken shortly after completing the Oxford "British Heart Foundation" cycle ride (52 miles) in the glorious sunshine on the "British Grand Prix" Sunday of 1999. The same Sunday that Michael Schumacher broke his leg in the British Grand Prix!
