Denplan care is a means of providing routine preventive care and maintenance for a predetermined monthly fee. It forms a contract between you and your dentist, which is entered into after an initial assessment of your teeth and gums. There may be some initial work needed before you can enter into a Denplan Care contract.

Guided by the assessment, your dentist will establish your monthly Denplan care payment. At the beginning of your programme there is an additional one-off registration charge equivalent to one months fee.

Once the contract has started, your dentist can use the assessment as a starting point to maintain and improve your dental health, so that you can look forward to enjoying healthier teeth and gums with all the confidence this can bring.

Preventive dentistry means taking positive steps to help you avoid tooth decay and gum disease. Through modern preventive care it is sometimes possible to reverse the very early effects of tooth decay and therefore avoid the need for a filling. Your dentist can talk to you about the use of fluoride, which helps tooth enamel to resist acid attack and decay.

A key aspect of preventive care is the valuable contribution that a tooth friendly diet can make, not only for your teeth, but also for your general health.

Your dentist can advise you on how to protect your teeth by following a healthy diet.
