Let us help you to make your stay memorable. If you are
thinking of spoiling your loved one, we can help with arranging a
bouquet of fresh flowers, chilled champagne and fresh Belgian
chocolates all beautifully presented for their arrival. We
also turn down the lights, play soft romantic music, light the fires
during the cooler seasons and delicately fragrance the rooms with
rose incence.
To help you unwind from your journey, why not take a nice long soak in the hot tub that awaits you with its constant temperature of 38
degrees.

Please phone me in advance of your booking to discuss your
special requirements.

A Grade II 17c Thatched Cottage
Thrums cottage nestles in a
quietly tucked away country lane off the village of Belchamp Otten
– its name translates to ‘beautiful meadow.’ Set in the delightful countryside of Suffolk near the Stour
and Belchamp valleys and overlooking gently undulating patchwork
fields of arable farmland. There
are many walks and cycle tours that are but a stones throw away and
historic towns of Lavenham, Clare, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury and Long
Melford with their numerous places of interest, pubs, shops restaurants and theatres
all within easy reach.

Attention to modern day comforts was a key design
consideration in making Thrums a ‘home from home’. Leather, stone, metal and reclaimed wood are mixed to
create an eclectic but comfortable ambience. There is a power shower with body jets in the newly decorated
Wet Room and for those wishing to while away the hours we have
installed a Hot tub. Thrums is an ideal get away for those seeking
peace, tranquility and a healthy environment from the ravages of
city life, its traffic, noise and pollution; this cottage is a quiet
haven for seriously unwinding and relaxing in. Chill out and absorb the peace and
tranquility that
surrounds you and that only nature can truly provide.
