Aberdyfi Rowing Club A big thankyou to Aberdyfi Rowing Club for donating their winnings from the Great River Race to the Neuadd Dyfi which amounted to several hundreds of pounds. Now they are going a stage further :- The Celtic Challenge From Arklow in Ireland to Aberystwyth in Wales The race happens every 2 years and will next take place on the weekend of 30th April-3rd May, with the exact race window depending on weather. The team have decided to use it as an opportunity to raise funds for the Neuadd Dyfi, The Charity Sense and as a boost for their own funds.
We have set up a Just Giving site Here The team have been training hard all winter and we know it will give them an enormous boost if the funds start rolling in!
Whats on Gardening club Spring Show Saturday 27th March TIME AND TIDE BELL A Public Meeting was held on Tuesday, 9th February 2010 Mr Marcus Vergette, creator of the Bells, explained the project . There was a great level of support. We need to push this project forward. See HERE for more details.
