Doig's Ltd trading as Doig's of Glasgow rose from the ashes of Doig's Tours (Greenock) Ltd's demise in July 1991.
It had been an old established family run company, owned at that time by the Harris family, the assets of the company
were sold off, vehicles returned and premises vacated, leaving only the good name and reputation of the company to survive.
On the 29th of July 1991 Doig's of Glasgow was born. Setting the base of operation in London Rd, Glasgow.
The company leased several vehicles and slowly started to advance the Doig's reputation. As the workload increased
more vehicles were purchased, and due to the efforts and the determination of both the management and staff
new contracts were obtained, culminating in being awarded the contract for all transport requirements
for the 1997 World Badminton Championships held in Glasgow in that year. During the 16 days of the Championships
some 80,000 passengers were carried to and from the venue at Scotstoun Leisure Centre.
We now operate from purpose built facilities located at Summer St., Glasgow, which were purchased in early 1999.
The site is fully equipped to maintain and service our ever increasing fleet of luxury coaches including
the only privately owned articulated coach ( Bendy bus ) in the UK, full office facilities along with drivers, staff and
customer areas are located on the site. Having invested over £3.5 million pound, over the last 4 years in vehicles
alone, we are now well established as the foremost coach operator in the West of Scotland. Our client list includes :-

to name but a few. With all routes computer planned using the very latest software available
to the industry, we can rightly pride ourselves on being able to cater from 2 to in excess of 150 passengers
at a time and from 1 pickup point to 100 pickup points where necessary.
