TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR YOUR STAY AT DOLPHIN GUEST HOUSE

RESERVATIONS
A booking is a legally binding contract under English law, made between you (lead person, 18+years) and us (Stephanie and Andrew trading as Dolphin Guest House) and is made when we accept a reservation from you.
When booking accommodation, we require a full one night stay as part payment.
We accept most major cards, bank transfer and cash.
Payment of the balance for accommodation, food and any services is required prior to your departure. We reserve the right to use your credit/debit card details if you fail to pay your bill.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in is after 2 pm.    Check-out is 11 am.

CONDITION OF SALE
For the comfort of all our guests this is a no smoking establishment, smoking is permitted on the balcony and outside patio.
We expect your room to be used in a responsible manner throughout your stay and with consideration to other guests.
We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately with no refund where you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes disturbance or nuisance to other guests.
We reserve the right to charge for any damage or breakages.
We do not accept any responsibility for loss to personal possessions or personal injury whilst on the premises.

TARIFF
All prices for accommodation are in pounds sterling and include Breakfast, parking and VAT. No refund or part refund will be given for breakfast or other meals not taken at the times stated. Full tariff can be found on website.

PARKING
There is no on- site parking at the premises.
We offer you free parking in the Council car park for the duration of your stay.
Parking spaces are used at your own risk, you are responsible to clearly display the permit and for any infringement notices or parking fines.


CANCELLATION POLICY
Our aim is to be as helpful as we can in the situation where you may have to cancel your stay with us. We would encourage you to take out holiday insurance for any claims.
In the unlikely event that you find yourself cancelling your stay with us, we would:
• try to accommodate any alternative dates (within 6 months)and transfer your part payment
• if we re-let the room, we are happy to refund your part payment minus an administration charge
• if we are unable to re-let the room we reserve the right to keep your part payment.

CHILDREN
We have one room suitable for 2 adults and one child. For further details contact proprietors.

COMPLAINTS
If there is anything you are unhappy with during your stay with us we would ask that you let us know as soon as possible in order for us to attempt to resolve the matter.

ACCESS REPORT
We are in an elevated position with a 30° slope then stairs up to the entrance. Our bedrooms are situated on 1st and 2nd floors. If you are unsure about ease of access we have a full access report available.

ENVIRONMENT POLICY
Our Policy is to buy local wherever possible:

​• To use energy efficient light bulbs where appropriate
​•To conserve water and energy
We are pleased to have been accredited the ‘Green Acorn Award’ from the South East Cornwall Assoc. (SECTA) in recognition of our commitment to the Environment.

DATA PROTECTION
According with the Data Protection Act we keep your details secure and do not pass to any third parties.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Entire Agreement between us and you is set out in these terms and conditions and no other terms apply.
