DanioLabs generates revenues from the application of
our technologies by undertaking discovery processes:
• For others – Revenue
Generating Collaborations;
•
With others – Risk Sharing Collaborations;
•
For ourselves – Licensing.
Revenue Generating Collaborations:
Under these collaborations, DanioLabs undertakes work
on behalf of our partners for an agreed fee. An example
would be the screening of novel compounds provided
by a collaborator in one
of our established assays. The collaborator generally
keeps any intellectual property that is generated from
th collaboration.
Risk-Sharing Collaborations:
This differs from the revenue generating collaborations,
in that DanioLabs undertakes work for either a reduced
fee, or some share of future revenues - normally
through intellectual property creation, which is either
owned by DanioLabs and is committed to a shared project,
or is shared with the other partner from the outset
of the programme.
Licensing:
With a primary focus (although not exclusively) on neurological
and ophthalmic disease, DanioLabs has on-going drug
discovery and development programmes. These programmes
and products will be licensed out to partners with
an active franchise in the areas at a suitable clinical
proof of principal stage – likely to be Phase
II. In return DanioLabs expect to receive access, milestone
and royalty payments.
