All Design e products are fully covered by a 2 year parts and labour Warranty.

 

This warranty is non-transferable, and is valid for the first original purchaser, purchasing direct from Design e or an authorised retailer of Design e products.

 

What is covered by the Design e warranty?

In the unlikely event that your Design e product fails to function correctly due to a fault or a manufacturing defect Design e, at its sole discretion, will repair or replace free of charge (a replacement is only considered if the it is returned in a clean and unmarked condition complete with original packaging) during the warranty period.

 

How to obtain service:

To obtain warranty service, please take your products with the original bill of sale to your Design e retailer or contact Design e directly by email WARRANTY SERVICE or call 44 (0) 1243 377899.

 

Note: The Design e warranty requires the purchaser to validate the warranty. Please complete and return the form provided with the Design e product, stamped by the dealer on the date of purchase. If the dealer did not stamp your warranty card, please attach the original sales receipt to the warranty card. The warranty form must be received by us within 30 days of the purchase date in order to be validated.

Important: The Design e warranty is in addition to, and in no way detracts from your statutory rights as a consumer.

 

 

Warning

The warranty will be invalidated if the product is housing is opened or any repair attempted in anyway, regardless or whether correct or incorrect parts are fitted. The warranty will also be invalidated if the product is misused or tampered with in any way.

 

 

 

What costs will Design e cover?

Design e will cover all labour and material expenses for returned warranty items, but the purchaser must pay the shipping charges if it is necessary to ship the product to Design e or an authorised Design e retailer. If the repairs are covered by the warranty, Design e will cover the cost of the return shipping charges.

All warranty repairs must be returned to Design e whether via a retailer or direct.

 

What is not covered:

The Design e warranty does not cover a component, which has been:

1. Damaged in transit or by act of God.

2. Overloaded, abused, misused, or operated with faulty or unsuitable equipment, or contrary to instructions contained in the accompanying product manual.

3. Serviced by unauthorised personnel.

4. The serial number has been altered or removed.

5. In the event of equipment being returned which is found on test to comply with published specification Design e reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for testing the equipment and carriage.

 

In no event shall the warrantor be liable for incidental, or consequential damages, whether damages result from breech of express or implied warranties, tort, negligence, or otherwise.
