Stars and Bars is a concept following a monthy magazine format to bring the many thousands of United States Army Air Force images that were taken during World War Two that we have collected over the years to you, the reader, in an affordable form.
Many, if not all of the pictures have never been widely seen before - all have been captioned using the data provided on the back of the original, first generation print - with additional information provided where known.
The pictures contained within Stars and Bars show as many aspects as possible of life within the United States Army Air Forces all around the world - the pictures shows the men, their equipment, their aircraft and their airfields. Much of the information that is revealed and more importantly proved by the publication of these images, is already in contradiction to accepted public knowledge.
