Weekends start on Friday evenings with a mealtime discussion to outline the next two day's work. We aim to give each student a taste of making handbuilt pots and throwing on the wheel. There's still quite a lot of choice involved in what you want to make and how you want to decorate your pots and at the end of a weekend you will be surprised at how much you have got done.

Also for students who have not seen Wasdale before we sometimes manage a quick trip up the valley.

Students who do not have access to a kiln generally leave work to be glazed and fired by us for which we make a small charge and also for carriage. All other costs are included in the Course fee.
