Deconvolution

The deconvolution method used in PCModfit is the one derived by Loo and Reigelman. To analyse oral data, i.v. parameters should be known, although for one compartment models only the half-life is needed. The results of % remaining to be absorbed or % absorbed versus time both in the form of graphs and as numerical data in text files can be generated in seconds. The user has control of the absorption level cut off at run time. As for modelling, the data can be exported from spreadsheets such as Excel into PCModfit in a matter of seconds for analysis.

As for all other options, the graphics are of a high quality suitable for reports or presentations. Further, the deconvolved data may be further analysed by the program to gain estimates of absorption rate using either the modelling option or the non-compartmental approach.
