Glyn Y Mul Farm campsite
is only about 11 road miles from the Afan Forest Park and Glyncorrwg Ponds. If
you want to make a longer weekend of it, you can get to the
At the
You can camp where you
like on our field, no specific pitches so you won’t be pushed and shoved into
places you don’t want to be or so close to the next tent you’ll be woken by
snoring!
If you are a light weight
camper then we’ve catered for you. We have a small ‘camper’s kitchen’ with a
microwave, fridge, kettle and hot water on tap. There’s a table and some chairs
so if the weather turns bad you needn’t struggle with a gas flame trying to get
your morning coffee fix. Five miles down the road is a Tesco superstore with
fuel, cash points and a café. There’s a pub about 1 mile from the farm. You can
walk back or get a cab.
We have male and female
toilets and two showers. We’ve just built a dedicated washing area for mountain
bikes in response to requests. We are looking into the possibility of a covered
maintenance area and secure storage but in the meantime we’ll do anything we
can to help you. There’s a Halfords store
within about 3 miles of the farm that has a ‘Bike-Hut’ inside.

If you want to come, please let us know first.
Please don’t just arrive unannounced. We do get busy sometimes and we have a
strict limit on the number of people we have here at any one time. The
preferable mode of contact is e-mail and we try to check it as often as
possible during the day. If you’d prefer, call Ian on 01639 643204 or 07970
290124. Be aware that we are unlikely to be able to answer questions about
availability or take actual bookings over the phone. If you want to call for an
informal chat or enquiry then Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 9.30am is
best.
