Below are independent revues of the camp site that have been
submitted to camping related web sites or directly to us. We don’t always agree
with everything they say – even if it sounds good! Be aware that some of the
facilities have been improved since the reviews were written. We now have 2
showers and extra flushing toilets etc.

Excellent couple of days here - friendly people - plenty of places to camp -
you don't even need a tent - the owner is happy for you to swing a hammock
between two trees if that's what you want.
Toilets, showers, couldn't be cleaner. Kitchen area with sink, hot water,
microwave and fridge. Plenty of electric hook up points 'don't worry about a
lead, we've got plenty - park wherever you like, we'll get electric to you' was
the owners response. You can camp (no vehicles) in the woodland beside the
river which is very peaceful) if you wish.
He only takes about 35 people here, despite being a huge place, so book ahead,
as he was full for august when we were there. What a lovely peaceful haven with
leisure centre nearby, large Tescos 10 minutes away, and surrounded by loads of
lovely waterfalls. Herons on the pond in the mornings, ducks wandering around
freely. Loud music not allowed, nice peaceful break.

What a Fantastic Campsite! Just got back from a weeks stay there with a group
of friends and we all had everything that we needed! in our group was a mixture
of small campervan, touring tent and smaller hiking tents too.
The location is perfect, less than an hours drive to The Gower and same up to
Brecon Beacons, 10mins drive to Neath and large shops but yet the farm is in a
quiet valley, not overlooked. The lane up to the farm is a bit tricky, I was in
a VW T4 and it felt a little tight on occasions, but Ian's directions on the
website give plenty of advice!
Facilities wise there are 3 main fields set aside for camping, with the lower
one being flatter and more suitable for caravans and campervans. There is also
the wooded area for those who want to try wild camping by the river. Might give
this a go next time.
The Kitchen / shower block area is basic but well maintained and in a clean
condition. There are a number of clean portaloos around the site in case you
get caught short in the night!
Overall the site is perfect for a nice quiet break away from it all, though not
really suited for young children, and Ian & Family with Ted make the
perfect hosts and guides to the area! We will be back again, though in a
smaller group!

Just got back from a wonderful week long stay here with husband and two
friends. Very friendly and helpful site.
We camped in the woods, which I would recommend as you get great views and
peace and quiet. We had camp fires and bought the logs from Ian and collected
the kindling from the forest floor.
The actual camping field looked good too, but is not as peaceful as the woods
as you can hear some road noise in the early morning.
I used a small folding barrow to move stuff from the car to our pitch as it was
a bit of a trek. Useful for bringing back water too.
Lots of wildlife including bats, toads, butterflies, swallows, swifts, rabbits
and a very sweet baby common lizard.
Plenty of shops in nearby Neath for supplies.
Walked down to Aberdulais Falls (NT) for an interesting visit.
Wonderful waterfall walks a short drive away. We started at Pontneddfechan
where there is a good information centre and also the Angel pub which does good
food.
Also went further into the Brecon Beacons another day and walked up Corn Du and
Pen y Fan. Fabulous views all round.
We would highly recommend this site especially if you like no frills away from
it all camping.

We spent 4 wonderful days here at the end of July. Ian warned us on the phone
that the conditions were extremely wet and waterlogged with more rain forecast
- but we weren't put off and very glad too!
A really friendly site right in the wilds, fantastic scenery, fires no problem
and both ian and Ted were very helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure that
everyone got the best out of their stay on the site. Would definitely go again

Just got back from a two break at this campsite. It is such a good campsite -
Ian and Ted are friendly and helpful. We had a field to ourselves for most of
the time. Ian has tried to provide everything you might need - the kitchen
facilities (microwave and kettle) were useful, especially when we ran out of
gas on the last night!
The shower and wash rooms are designed so that a family can use them - very
useful with our baby. It was ace being able to have a fire (one of the main
reasons we chose the site). Brecon Beacons and the Gower (both stunning) are
under an hours drive away. There are fabulous waterfall walks nearby.

We've just come back from this site after a stay at Easter. 2 adults 2 children
3 and 7.
When we arrived field was waterlogged but Ian kindly towed the tent on to the
field for us. Ted very friendly and always around for a chat or advice. Despite
being Easter site still nice and quiet, everyone in bed early, everybody
respected the no noise request. Site has one main toilet block (1 male, 1
female) washroom and shower there are 2 additional toilets (portaloos) next to
utility area and an additional shower. Site is green in all meanings of the
word, not on mains water/ sewerage (they have their own bore hole and sceptic
tank) and on the end of the electricity line, not enough electricity to run the
two showers at the same time, unless its been sunny.
Animals very friendly , the ducks seem to know when you have food and come
calling, they loved salt and vinegar pringles! Also resident cats come for some
attention, and we were lucky as some lambs were born while we were there.
Went for a walk in the 'wild' camping area which looked lovely if not very
muddy at this time of year.
Most people had camp fires every night so not a site to go to if you don't like
smoke everywhere. Also lovely view of the stars, on a cold clear night!
Initially we did wonder if Children would be welcome on the site, after reading
the campsite web page. But our children loved the site and can't wait to go
back there again.
It all depends what type of family you are, for those that need their children
entertained this is not the site for you, for those that love nature peace and
quiet perfect family site.

We decided to go for some quiet seclusion for our first wedding anniversary and
found the woodland at Lone Wolf perfect! Ian and Ted pointed us in the right
direction for pitching and left us to it, ideal!
It's a bit of a trek down into the woodland with all the camping kit but all
worth it for a truly secluded setting.
We had probably the worst imaginable weather but made the most of it in true
back to basics fashion! We spent our days collecting fire wood, snuggling up
around the fire underneath our tarpaulin and exploring the woodland during the
infrequent dry spells! On trips back up to the campsite, for toilet and shower
facilities, we were always greeted by owner Ian or his helper Ted with 'Oh,
you're still here then!? We were sure you'd have bailed out by now!'.Yes, the
weather was that bad!
Despite the torrents of water carried by the river through the woodland, we
weren't threatened by it breaking it's banks but were mindful to keep an eye on
the dog for fear of her being swept away!
Day trips to Mumbles beach, Margam castle and the nearby
Local shop is around a mile's walk into Aberdulais village, very convenient for
milk and bread or Tesco in Neath around 5 miles away for BBQ essentials etc.
Huge thanks to Ian and Ted for making us feel welcome and arranging one sunny
day on our final day!

We stayed at Glyn Y Mul farm for a week. The great British weather wasn't
brilliant but the site, the views and the hospitality more than made up for it.
We had a fantastic week, were made to feel so welcome and were both genuinely
sad to have to leave. My only complaint is that we don't have the time to go
back until next year! But we will definitely return.
The site is perfect if you want to retreat from noisy busy everyday life but
don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere, everything you need is no more
than a short drive away.
The site itself has a kitchen area with hot water, kettle, microwave, fridge,
there are 2 showers (with the rare luxury of 'on/off' buttons for constant
water so you don't have to stand holding a button in with one hand while
washing with the other like you do on most sites!), flushing toilets and
several portaloos around the site. All of the facilities are kept clean.
There are ducks and a couple of domestic cats resident on the site giving it
real charm and appeal and a beautiful woodland you can camp in if 'back to
basics' is your thing. We're self-confessed lightweight campers and stayed on
the camping field with electric hook-up but we did explore the woodland and the
stunning Dulais river that runs through it.
It only remains to say that next year can't come quick enough. Many thanks to
Ian and Ted for making our stay so enjoyable. Top marks to you both. See you
next year.

Spent one night here at the end of June. We stayed across the (quiet) railway
track in the woods by the river, which was fantastic. It's a bit of a trek back
if you need a shower or the loo, but a lovely sense of being out there.
There is a more conventional camping field there too.
A quiet, beautiful site with basic, but clean facilities, and really helpful
owners.
It's on our list of sites to go back to, - I'd definitely recommend it,
particularly if you want to give 'wild' camping a go, with civilisation not too
far away!

A lovely laid back campsite (their website is very good at explaining the whole
set up so I won't attempt to!), Ian, the owner, is a great bloke and very
helpful.
We went for the 'back to basics' camping down in the woods by the river and
experienced possibly the worst 2 days & nights of rain that I have seen
this year! (well it felt like that at the time!) Luckily our back to basics
instincts kicked in and tarpaulin was rigged, camp fires built and we all
managed to stay dryer than expected!
My son loved it, never has so much whittling been done, the dogs loved it and
we loved it, we're booking to go back in September!

Well, this site has got to be one of the most laid back sites I've been to.
There was plenty of space and we could pitch wherever we liked. The people who
run the site are very friendly and after the first night was asked if
everything was ok and if it was quiet enough, which it was. We took a walk in
the woods and there were about seven tents pitched among the trees, here and
there. It seems the 'back to basics' feel of the place is quite popular
(especially as the showers are only 5 mins walk away! ;-)
The facilities are basic but ok. The toilets are clean. In the kitchen there is
a microwave, fridge and leccy kettle for free use, which is great! Of course,
if you feel the need to donate something for the leccy, there is an 'honesty
box'. You can also pick up disposable BBQ's here, again pay by plonking £2 in
the box. There are also chemical toilets in the upper fields as well, which can
save you the walk in an 'emergency'.
The ducks that wander around the place are quite tame. They seem to tour the
campsite checking everyone out, and hoping for a bite of whatever the camper is
having!
The road that leads up to the farm starts off as a VERY steep and S shaped
bend, not suitable for big caravans or MH's. The best way to get there in this
case, is to come down from the North end of the road, the website explains this
in more detail.
Overall a great friendly site, laid back and quiet. There are attractions
nearby and the waterfall walks at Pontneddfechan are a must to do! I can't wait
to return.

Just come back from a weekend away at Lone Wolf. We had a fantastic time!
We camped down in the woods, which was great! Back to basics has never been so good.
We were fortunate to be the only ones down in the woods and we camped right by
the river. We had camp fires every night and had a mixture of weather. As it
had been raining before we got to camp and when we came to leave the ground was
very boggy to walk through, but there were plenty of drier areas to setup camp
in. Wellies/walking boots are a must if weather looks a bit iffie.
The facilities are kept clean, 4 toilets (2 for men and 2 for women), 2
showers, with hot water and a separate wash room. There is a kitchen area if
needed (we didn't use this as we were 'back to basics' camping) but we did use
the drinking water tap to fill up our water carriers to take down to base camp.
The railway line is no problem at all. It is gated off well and you can see
clearly down the track to see if a train is coming. The trains are coal trains
and go very slowly.
You park one side of the railway line and walk down to the woods, so if camping
in the woods take only the essentials as carrying things back and forth can be
quiet tiring. But with 6 of us we managed ok and its all good exercise!
One thing to bear in mind is the distance from the toilet block and the fact
that it is pitch black at night in the woods! Therefore be prepared to walk
10mins or so to the toilets at night through the woods, or use the woods!
The main camping area (outside of the woods) looked to be very nice and
comfortable for those who don't want to camp in the woods and the facilities
are next to the fields.
The owner was extremely friendly and very accommodating. When we arrived he
gave us a guided tour of the woods and the facilities.
We will definitely be going back!
Don't camp in the woods if you are not prepared to go back to basics (camp up
by the main farm in the fields) - if you want back to basics camping in
woodland then this is the perfect place for you!
The owner’s website is brilliant and explains everything very well indeed.
Happy Camping & thanks to Ian for making us feel so welcome. Brilliant
site!

My daughter and I spent a week here in April 2008.
The weather was awful but the site was great. It is a quiet site about 5 miles
from Neath which has a number of fields for tents and caravans but also allows
camping in the woods which are attached to the site. The owner, Ian, was
extremely friendly and helpful.
The site is a simple almost basic setup but is very clean and so very, very
friendly. There is a block with flush loo’s, washroom and shower and a separate
block which has another shower, chemical toilets and a small kitchen area. The
kitchen has two sinks, hot and cold water and at the time, a microwave, a
toaster and a fridge. There is also a bike wash area for those that make use of
the bike trails which are close by.
There is no shop and no club, but, it is just not that type of site. It is
ideal for a quiet break in a lovely bit of welsh countryside complete with
woods and river. We hammock camped in the wooded area. It allowed us to play at
wild camping but with the benefit of loo’s and showers when we needed them.
There is public transport to Neath should you need it, which has all the
services a small town offers. The snack bar near the colliery museum (1 mile
away) is also to be recommended. The Dulais Rock pub also serves a very nice
pint.
We had a great stay here, quiet and clean, relaxing and friendly, well
recommended. The sites web site gives more details. I can really recommend this
site if you are looking for a spot of calm welsh countryside

clean. The bike wash was great for cleaning the bikes after blasting around
There are also ducks roaming around. These little buggers are really funny but

What a lovely campsite and Ian the owner was very friendly and welcoming.
We were shown where the facilities were. A toilet block with family
shower area and a washroom with a couple of chemical toilets and another
chemical toilet in the top field. A kitchen with fridge, microwave,
toaster and kettle. Unfortunately no freezer for ice packs, but that was
not the end of the world. Fires were allowed to be lit which was great,
we cooked our tea on the fire and we were able to stay outside when the sun
went down, huddled around the fire chatting and drinking a glass of wine or
two. The kids loved it here because of the space they had to play frisbee
and football.
Nearby is a railway which is only used about twice a day to transport coal and
a river which the dogs and kids loved. The campsite is close to a
Colliery which was very educational and interesting. We thank Ian for a
wonderful stay and we will be back next year.

We have just spent 4 nights at Glyn Y Mul farm. We were blessed with the
gorgeous weather that finally kicked in.
The site was saved from the previous deluge by Ian the owner asking everyone to
leave their car on the track (once unloaded) rather than go back &
forth to the tents. This was a great solution and it was actually rather a
shame when cars were allowed back as the camping fields looked more natural
without the cars.
There are 2 big winding fields and you pitch where you choose.
The campfires were great and we loved the views from each field. As has been
said before, don't go if not keeping your own children entertained or needing
noise is essential to you. The road noise is noticeable at first but then you
don't notice it. The trains are only long goods trains and there are about 3 a
day - our 5 year old loved them! The woods are fantastic for exploring the
river and viewing south wales from a good height. Our dog loved it too. We
found the facilities to be absolutely fine, the loo roll is
constantly replaced and admired the ingenuity of the owner in how he
has created them (!). Ian is a character who makes the place so quirkily
memorable - I admired his collection of old petrol pumps and was praised for
being an intelligent female! Another camper told me the tale of when she booked
and asked if she should send a deposit, was given the response of "How
tacky, we don't do deposits, I can trust you can't I?"! Ted
(who seems to live on site) is another great character and a great source on
Welsh history and places to go. We were informed that the site was full on our
last night and I nearly fell about, knowing how other site owners would have
packed them in like sardines.
We visited the Gower, Dan Y Ogof caves, Aberdulais waterfall, Craig y
nos country park, Neath, lots of walks but the place we liked best was
Cefn Ceon Colliery literally a mile up the road. This was hugely informative
and the children particularly liked the underground mining bit!
A fantastic place that we will return to.

Close to perfect (for us).
Firstly, campfires. We were looking for a site that would let us have a
campfire and this site has the perfect solution with its "half a beer
keg" fire hearth. It made all the difference to extending the
evenings beyond feeling chilly and going to bed as soon as the sun went over
the valley hill, compared to staying up beyond sunset in the great outdoors!
The location is great, very easy to find from the site's directions (not too
far from the M4) and within fairly easy reach of popular attractions such as
the beaches of Gower and of course Aberdulais falls which is a short distance
down the road. Secluded enough for the only visitors to be other campers but
easy enough to get to a main road for trips out.
The facilities would be regarded by some as limited but at no point did I queue
for a flushing toilet or a clean fully functioning shower. I think
it is fair to say that the lack of games room, swimming pool and all
that malarkey meant a related lack of loud radios, drunkenness (apart from me,
and I behaved myself!) and fears about security.
The site owner is Ian, who is about as eager to please as anyone you will find
while camping. He knows what kind of site he wants to run and if you understand
this and the other reviews on here then want to go, you won't be disappointed.
The site is in a valley which has a train track running close to it
(no live rail, we saw the diesel twice and heard it three times), which if you
cross leads down to a beautiful river section that you can play in or even camp
beside.
The site is a farm and little ones and some older ones, will enjoy the free
roaming ducks (we live the rural area of Bosham but my 3 y.o. Still loved
the ducks). We were afforded a lot of space and relative privacy in a
large field.
If there is any downside about the experience, it is difficult to get a
completely flat pitch, this is easy to get around with a bit of creativity
though and probably saved the site this year with the rainfall there was
throughout July. Ian is keen on energy conservation, this suits our lifestyle
perfectly, but if you don't recycle then you may not "get" the site
ethos.
Last year we needed a commercial site as we had to keep our 15 y.o.
Daughter and her friend entertained at times. This year we camped with our 3
y.o. And my parents and the seclusion of the site was perfect.
Would use again, it is only the fact that we are using camping as a way of
exploring

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in a tent. It was our first time
camping so we left the children and just took the dog so we could see what the
site was like. You get a choice of either camping in the designated field or
wild camping in the woods. We opted for the woods as we wanted to be self
sufficient.
The owner was extremely friendly and showed us a few sites in the woods but
ultimately the choice was ours to camp where we wanted. The weather was awful
and the ground very wet and muddy (Waterproofs are a must if you visit during
wet weather) but we had a great time! We were very close to the river
which was fast flowing (due to the weeks of constant rain) and there are also
several streams dotted around. We were able to have a campfire which was lovely
but due to the weather and all the wood being wet we had difficulty getting a
fire started. The owner sells logs by the bag for only £4 which we found a
godsend. We only needed one bag as once the fire was going it did not go out!
There is a lovely walk through the woods which we had to cut short due to our
puppy sinking in the soggy ground! We found lots of little streams and some
great camping spots for when we return. If you enjoy being self
sufficient then the woods would be for you! To get drinking water
we had to make a short walk of about 3 minutes back to the main camp site. The
walk is all uphill (not steep!) but as we had a large container for water we
only had to go back once during our 2 day stay.
There are several facilities at the main camp site including shower, a
washroom, a kitchen with microwave, kettle and toaster and recycling bins.
We did not use any of these but we were shown them when we arrived and it all
looked clean and comfortable. To see the river from here you would need to walk
down towards the woodland where we camped. There are no streams at the main
campsite either.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return for a week with our children.
The most important thing for us was waterproofs and waterproof shoes! As it has
been raining there for a while I would strongly advise taking some especially
for children. Even with our roaring fire, we found it difficult to dry clothes
and shoes.
What's great about the site is that there's a choice of wild camping in the woods
or camping in the field right next to all the facilities. I would strongly
recommend this place and we plan to keep going back when we get free
time.

There's not much to add but we wanted to confirm all the great reviews we read
about this site.
The owner was fantastic. We went Whitsun week and there was a small problem
with some boys who were not being properly supervised and causing small
problems. The owner was on top of this and spoke with the parents and sorted
out any problems.
The facilities were always clean and the use of the kettle and fridge were a
bonus.
The children loved the campsite and spent a lot of their time roaming around
looking for sticks for the the campfire. It had a lovely, safe atmosphere and
there was plenty of space for the children to play with balls, etc.
We really enjoyed being able to have a campfire but it was very hard to leave
to go to bed and we had some very late nights with lots of wine and chatting.
All in all a perfect camping experience.

Fantastic! My son (12yo) and I were met by Ian (the site owner), given a tour
of the site and facilities, which was totally unexpected! No hassle about
payment "see me before you leave" was the response. How refreshing!
Facilities were relatively basic (apart from the availability of a microwave,
toaster, kettle, dining table, etc.), but always clean. We arrived on the
Sunday of the Whit-sun bank holiday (stayed the week), and told the site was
'busy' but would be quieter Monday. Very true. There was still plenty of space
to pitch our tent, in any of the fields without encroaching on others. The only
draw back here, was the lack of hot water in the kitchen for washing-up.
However, with a kettle provided this was not a problem.
Brilliant policy of being able to have camp fires, and the site had a very calm
and welcoming atmosphere.
Recycling facilities were beyond expectations, and to be applauded.
The only drawback we found was the proximity to the A4109, which could be quite
busy at times, usually bedtime! Nevertheless, after two nights we didn't really
notice it, but did discover the railway that runs through the site! To be fare,
this was a goods railway and only ran a couple of times a day.
Would we return? Yes, we probably would, the pros more than outweigh the cons,
by quite a long way!

First time campers my family and two other family's called Ian at lone wolf and
asked if he could help a load of camping virgins for one night,he was up for it
so we packed up and drove the 20 miles from our homes to the site. We got lost
and had to call Ian the owner on the way, he guided us in. We arrived to a
large site with flat pitches and a very relaxed feeling. The site has a kitchen
you can use with fridge toaster and microwave. The toilets and showers are more
than adequate. It was exactly as it says on the box SAFE SECURE AND WELCOMING
with plenty of space and even benches by most pitches.
THE BEST PART IS IAN LETS YOU HAVE CAMP FIRES WHICH AS ANY BLOKE KNOWS THATS
FANTASTIC,REAL FIRES They set you up with everything you need logs ect.
The site had ducks wandering around and a river and hills within a short walk,
they use a honesty box in the small shop for basic items.

What a great find. I've been searching for ages to find a camp site that will
allow an open fire. The owner is refreshingly helpful, he actually wanders
around the site and interacts with his customers! Very informal and so laid
back I felt I had had two weeks holiday just chatting with him.
Be aware though, if you are wanting a club house, bar and attractions then
please stay away as you will quickly become bored, especially if you have kids
that expect the same. If, like ours, they're happy to run around a field and
feed the free roaming duck then go for it but I would advise some games such as
swing ball or cricket.

What a great find this site was! We had planned to stay all week but we cut

I've really got very little to add to the other reviews. Facilities are basic,
but perfectly clean and functional. Loos are portaloo type (one M, one F), and
there is an electric shower (one) which is free. The site was relatively quiet
when we were there - showers were no problem - the trick was to watch for
someone walking back with a towel or wet hair and you knew the shower was
available.
There is a kitchen for campers, which you don't find on many sites, equipped
with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Recycling facilities.
We really liked that you could have a fire. We used one of the half beer kegs
that were provided and gathered some firewood - great for sitting round in the
evening.

Just arrived home after four wonderful days at Glyn Y Mul Farm.
If you really want to get away from it all and not step foot in the car / real
world for a while this is definitely the place!
We mainly spent our days by the river in the farm's own broadleaf wood, and
didn't feel the need to leave the site at all, (although there is plenty to do
in the area if you want to get out and about!)
The kids (two aged 11 and one of 10) found plenty to do and entertain
themselves, gathering fire wood and splashing in the river and riding their
bikes a break neck speed down the tump!
This is a site for clean, green out-doors folk. This is not a housing estate in
a field the way some sites are. The owners are friendly and you feel privileged
to be sharing some of their land for a while.
Planning to return soon, and set up camp by the river next time, the perfect
antidote to hectic modern life!
Facilities are clean and adequate and the addition of a toaster in the kitchen
area was a great treat on the one morning it was a bit wet and miserable for
the kids.
I don't think it would be a great site if your kids are used to being
entertained with stuff 24/7. This is Enid Blyton land, which for us was
absolutely perfect!
Thanks Ian & Jo.

We went to Glyn Y Mul Farm to test our new tent out.
We arrived and were surprised, the site looked clean and tidy, and there was a
dozen tents and a couple of caravans. Spoke to Ian the site owner and pitched
up.
Beautiful scenery and a relaxed atmosphere. Three of Four ducks visited the
campsite and there where sheep in the next field.
The site was cheap to stay at, it’s a great place for weekends of
camping.
At the bottom of the field there were toilets and even a kitchen has been
installed for the guests. The kitchen had a microwave, kettle, fridge, toaster
and sink with hot and cold water supplied (very handy indeed).
There are recycling bins for cardboard, glass etc.
We enjoyed our stay at the farm and will be going again, just be aware that
there is NO kids park or swimming pool on this site, our kids just got on with
playing football, colouring, reading and collecting wood to make an
outdoor campfire and were very happy indeed.
I would recommend this site to anyone, go and find out for yourselves.

- Owners are very friendly and accommodating
- Facilities are simple yet effective, for example there is a fridge,
microwave, piping hot water, shower, bike washing facilities available.
- Fires are permitted in halved beer barrels, which are provided. Wood is
sourced from the farms 20 acres of woodland or can be bought cheaply.
- The area itself is picturesque with many walks, treks, rides nearby into the
hills or woods. A river also runs through the site. A good base camp. Shops,
bank, petrol are within sort drive.
- It should be remembered that this is a 'working' farm and as such common
sense should prevail around machinery, animals etc.
- There is potential to do more of a 'wild' camp by the river or in the
woodland but I would suggest you speak to Ian, the owner, as he knows the good
and bad pitches at different times of year.
- A superb site with no attitude or worries. We felt relaxed and welcomed
throughout our visit. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again.

Excellent site. Owners could not have been more helpful. Toilets and showers
very clean. We were made very welcome and only the torrential rain and the
proximity of a warm dry house sent us home slightly earlier than planned. Ideal
for those who enjoy the peace and quiet.
We will visit again.

I have been to this site a few times now and adore its quiet relaxed
atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and helpful and listen to any suggestions
you may have about improvements. The site is an excellent place if you like
wildlife as there is plenty around not to mention some fantastic walks and
scenery. It is not a very large site but what it lacks in size it more than
makes up for in character.

A great campsite. We stayed over the bank holiday weekend & every one
seemed to enjoy themselves, ideal site if visiting
I recommend following directions on their website if towing a caravan, with the
addition of phoning before entering the lane to check if a caravan is leaving
as the road is single track..

We stayed for a few days last year, the owners were very friendly and helpful
and the site had all the facilities we needed for our stay, which were all well
maintained and very clean.
We were a little unsure what to expect, having never stayed on a working farm
before, but would definitely recommend it to anyone camping in the
