The Guild at Greenbank

The Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland which invites all to express their faith in worship, prayer and action. We meet in the Braid Room at 7.30pm on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from October to March. There are two coffee mornings and two afternoon meetings during the winter session. The meetings open with devotions, followed by a speaker. To encourage fellowship and friendship we finish the evening with a cup of tea! We meet with other Guilds in Edinburgh throughout the year. During the session we raise funds for national Guild projects as well as other charities. The project which Greenbank Guild supported in 2004/05 was Growing with Care, The Sunflower Garden Project. We raised £870.00. We warmly invite those who know the Guild well or anyone thinking of ‘trying us out’ to join us at any of our meetings. Valerie Smart, Coordinator
