The Friendship Club meets in
the Braid Room on alternate Wednesday afternoons between October and March
at 2.30pm. Its aim is to provide a friendly and interesting meeting place
for people of retirement age within the area.
The Committee has compiled a varied and interesting programme of speakers
for our fortnightly meetings. In addtion, each month there is a Music
Afternoon arranged and presented by Kathleen
Patrick.
In 2005 members enjoyed two outings in the summer months, to Glamis Castle
and to the Pitlochry Theatre.
The subscription for the session is £5 which includes tea. Further
information about the Club may be obtained by contacting either the President,
Hope Hunter, or the Secretary,
Eileen Crawford, who will
be happy to help.
