Welcome to our Coffee Room

Description: Coffee RoomOur coffee room is open to the whole community. We serve tea, coffee, soft drinks, soup, filled rolls and a variety of cakes and biscuits. Prices are kept intentionally low to promote inclusion.

A large team of volunteers (45 in the coffee room alone) give their time and talents to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

                                                                               
     Monday 11 – 4pm     Tuesday – Friday 10 – 4.30pm

 

 

 

Lunch and Activity Clubs

The Good Neighbour Club – for active elderly people who can make their own way here; includes morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon tea.    Tuesdays 10.30am-3.00pm.

The Thursday Club – for frail elderly people, transport provided if needed; Includes morning coffee, lunch and variety of activities.  10.30am – 2.30pm.

The Friday Art Group – 10.30am – 12.30pm

The Poetry Society – First Friday of every month 6 – 8pm.

The Saturday Break – offers respite for carers and a safe, stimulating, friendly environment for those with memory loss and dementia. Saturdays 10am – 3pm

Our Premises as a community resource

In addition to our clubs, our premises are used by many local organisations for both regular and occasional meetings.

South Edinburgh Quaker Meeting Sunday 10.15am
YWCA Women’s Interest Group Monday 2.15pm fortnightly (check for start date)
Morningside Justice and Peace Group Wednesday 10-11.30am (check for start date)
Ian Murray MP, Surgery 3rd Saturday of month 12 noon
Morningside community council 3rd Wednesday of the month start 7pm
