Rainbows are
for girls between 5 and 7 years. We meet on Thursdays between 6.30pm and
7.30pm in the Centenary Hall at Greenbank Church.
Our weekly meetings all follow a theme, e.g. Autumn, Pets, Ourselves,
Rainbows in other countries, to name only a few, and we have fun singing
songs, making things and playing games related to that particular theme.
We have also raised money for ‘Children with Leukaemia’.
We have close links with the Brownies and at Christmas we went to the
King’s Theatre to see the Pantomime. We also like to go out and
about when the weather is good to the Hermitage of Braid and Braidburn
Valley Park to discover things or play games.
We have a long waiting list so please put your daughter’s name down
around her fourth birthday.
