Adult Christian Education

There are many options for members to further increase their knowledge and understanding of their faith in addition to regular worship. Two house groups meet regularly for Bible study, discussion, prayer, chat, laughter, sharing and support. The ministerial team arrange occasional Monday evening study groups, with in recent years the pattern of brief courses with weekly meetings in the autumn and during Lent, some of which are led by members of the congregation.

There is a monthly Bookstall in the church hall after the morning service, when members and visitors have the opportunity to browse through and purchase from a selection of books, including the “Book of the Month” which has been reviewed in the Greenbank Leaflet. The Church Library is also open after the morning service, giving the opportunity to borrow resource materials and books, including previous “Book of the Month” titles.
