The Church

Located on the corner of Braidburn Terrace and Pentland Terrace (A702) at the north-west corner of the parish.

  • Current church dates from 1927 with the original, built in 1900, now forming one of ten halls / meeting rooms providing a wide range of capacities.
  • £1.2m Centenary Project to extend the hall accommodation gained a number of awards. The new facilities were dedicated in November 2001.
  • Disabled access, including a lift, is now available to all major areas of the building complex.
  • Routine annual maintenance of church and halls is funded from revenue income.
  • There are plans to rebuild the fabric fund for major maintenance / development projects once the Centenary Project funding is completed.


The Manse

  • Situated at 112 Greenbank Crescent, approximately ½ mile from the church and with easy access to local shopping, schools and the City Centre.
  • 1930s style bungalow on a corner site with a small garden at the front, garage at one side and a good sized enclosed garden to the rear.
  • Accommodation: the following is the current configuration of the rooms – there is scope for alternatives if desired.
    • Ground floor: small entrance porch; hall with staircase and storage underneath the stair; lounge; dining room with living room off; kitchen; double bedroom; single bedroom; bathroom.
    • Upper Floor: study; double bedroom; toilet with wash-hand basin; box-room (can be used as a bedroom); storage in the eaves.

In addition to the Church and Manse the congregation own a flat in Comiston Place for occupation by the Church Officer.
