History 1972 - Today

In 1972 John Paget, a local farmer purchased numbers 22, 24 and 26 Temple Street initially to sell his farm produce. This outlet was subsequently leased and over the last 40 years the adjacent properties have been purchased. They were sympathetically modernised/newly built and now comprise of 31 units leased to tenants for a diverse range of uses. Soon construction will start on building a further 14 units.

The entrance to Temple Court is opposite the Fire Station and Leisure Centre.  The West side of Temple Court is bounded by The Labbott car park with 69 spaces, Ashton Way car park is 100 yards away with 241 spaces and another car park with 175 spaces can be found off Temple Street by the Fire Station.
