The Holbein Company was formed in 2001 to bring under one roof, “The Holbein Collection”, whose history lies in carved designs with traditional hand painting and gilding skills, and International Drapery Products a manufacturer and importer of exclusive curtain poles and accessories.

Whether working in woods, metals or clear acrylic, The Holbein Company manufactures in-house. All stages of production, from the preparation of raw materials to the final gilding, colouring and polishing of our products can be carried out in our own workshops.

The control that we have over every stage of production not only allows us to be sure of the quality of every product that we supply, but gives us the flexibility to produce bespoke items whether as variations from our existing products or as original designs to our customer’s specification.
