1. The booking form should be completed and returned together with the booking fee of £50 per person per holiday and an insurance premium, cost of which is shown on our price list and the booking form. See also cancellation insurance note 3. 2. An invoice for the total cost of your holiday (less the £50 booking fee) will be sent to you approximately 8 weeks before the start of your holiday and payment is requested within 14 days of receipt of invoice. 3. Cancellation charges
and insurance. The booking fee is non-returnable. Between two and four
weeks notice of cancellation given, two thirds of the full cost of the
holiday will be charged, if less than two weeks notice is given the full
cost of the holiday will be charged. 5. Guests traveling by public transport can usually be collected by staff from the local station by prior arrangement. A charge of fifty three pence per mile per vehicle will be made. 6. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
1. Entrance fees
for outings are not included in the holiday price. 3. Bed linen is provided but you are requested to bring your own towels. 4. Each cottage is connected to an emergency call system. 5. The trained staff at the farm will not only help you with all the activities described in the brochure in a very relaxed and friendly manner, but will also try to accommodate your individual requirements or specific interests, which should be included on your booking form. 6. We hope all visitors understand that our energy is mainly devoted to providing as wide a range of activities as possible. Therefore it would be appreciated if visitors try, to the best of their ability, to leave the accommodation as they find it. The ethos of Barrington Farm is to act as a community and maintain a considerate and responsible attitude towards others. 7. After the booking
has been accepted it may be necessary due to circumstances beyond our
control to change the date of the holiday. Whilst every effort will
be made to find a suitable alternative date, should this not be possible
a full refund will be issued without delay. |

Barrington Farm aims to give you a friendly relaxed holiday in purpose built cottages. 1. Bookings Bookings are confirmed when we have received your completed and signed booking form with a deposit of £117.50 per week. 2. Balance of payment Please forward balance of payment as per invoice to arrive not later than 28 days prior to the commencement of your holiday. 3. Key Deposit A key deposit of £50 will be required against damage etc which shall be repaid at the end of the holiday less any sum which may be due to the Company in respect of breakage's or damage. 4. Cancellations & Non-Payment In the event of cancellation within 28 days of the commencement of the holiday you will become liable for the full payment unless the cottage can be re-let at an equivalent rate. In the event of cancellation received in writing 28 days before the commencement of the holiday only the deposit will be forfeited. Non receipt of full payment as specified in term 2 will be considered as a cancellation. 5. Charges The charges are as shown on the current price list and are inclusive of VAT, for fully equipped cottages including electricity, central heating and colour TV, with access to gardens and farm. 6. Accommodation Ground floor lounge
/ kitchenette, large shower room / W.C. with wheelchair access, 2 bedrooms
each with two single beds (cot sides available). 7. Pets We do accept pets provided they do not foul footpaths and gardens and are kept under control at all times. No pets are allowed on the farm. 8. Arrival and Departure. The cottage may be occupied from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 12.00 noon on the day of departure. 9. Insurance Holiday and cancellation insurance is the responsibility of the guests. 10. Activities Self Catering bookings are taken on the understanding that full board facilities, activities, outings and entertainment are not inclusive. 11. Disclaimers Barrington Farm will not be liable for any personal injury, loss or damage, direct or indirect, loss or damage to any property, including motor vehicles, or the like, however caused, sustained by or occasioned to any person (including persons under the age of 18 years) whose name or names appear on the booking form. 12. Your Liability When you sign the booking form you warrant that you have the authority of all persons who will use the accommodation during the period booked to sign on their behalf and will indemnify Barrington Farm against all loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to the accommodation and its contents, from any act or default by yourself or any person or animal accompanying you. This agreement is made on the basis that the premises are to be occupied by the tenant for a holiday as mentioned in the Housing Act 1988 Schedule 1 paragraph 9, and the tenant acknowledges that the tenancy granted by this agreement is not an assured tenancy in that no statutory periodic tenancy will arise at the end of the term.

This is a holiday letting only and is not protected by the provisions of the Rent Act 1977. |
