Barrington Farm is a small rare breeds working farm tucked into the countryside close to sandy beaches and the Norfolk Broads. Local shops are ½ mile and there is a lively pub within easy walking distance.

Everybody is welcome to enjoy a wide range of interests. For those who are budding farmers the animals need caring for. There are usually lambs that are bottle fed around March and April, a farm trail with egg collecting daily, a popular activity especially when you can take them back to your cottage to cook and eat!

FULL BOARD
You will be greeted and introduced to the friendly staff on arrival. It is their aim to enable you to enjoy the type of holiday you want. They will encourage and support full board guests throughout their stay without interfering and allow the maximum independence within the individuals' ability range. The weekly programme of events and outings is adapted to suit people's needs and interests as it is important that guests enjoy their holiday.

Groups of clients and carers are advised to bring transport if they wish independence, while individual clients will be escorted on outings by experienced staff. Local attractions include steam railway, the broads, the beach, shopping and much more…..

Activities on site include a well equipped Art Centre with friendly experienced staff for painting, drawing, claywork, textiles and paper making. The social area is ideal for table tennis, discos, music and entertainment, with separate pool room.

The café will be open where you can enjoy a drink. If you are full board you can enjoy mealtimes with other guests (or you can have your meals delivered to your cottage if you prefer).

Social evenings such as BBQ's, films in our own cinema, bingo and music with our resident guitarist are organised each week as they have proved to be constantly popular over the years with guests.

Latest attraction - State of the art, surround sound cinema installation, incorporating DVD, video and facility to use your own games console e.g. Playstation or Nintendo 64 on our large screen.

Trained staff will store and administer medication if required. Monies can also be safely kept and offered on a pre-arranged basis. We are unable to provide personal care.

Bring your favourite holiday clothing and towels; remember the weather can be unpredictable. Appropriate wear for activities or outings e.g. Farm, discos, boat trips and the beach.

SELF CATERING
Self catering guests have access to the farm and its activities, you can arrange with the farmer to participate if you wish.

The grounds are available with use of the BBQ and outdoor seating. Enjoy the social area with the gym and its pool table and table tennis or a beverage in the café.

Shops, pubs, restaurants and laundry facilities are easily available within the local area but please remember we do not provide transport for self catering guests - however the pub is within easy walking distance!! Laundry facilities are available on site, please see price list.
