Who we are

 

  Kath Beaudette is an Associate at Martin Price Associates

 

Kath Beaudette has been working in the field of community enterprise development since 1990 and as a consultant to the sector since 1995, including a year as Deputy Director of Community Enterprise Wales.

Recent work:

·                        Mapping Exercise for Social Firms UK, identifying all the actual and emerging social firms in Wales

·                        Research into Exit Strategies for the Community Fund

·                        TPAS Cymru: Organisational Review, including clients and beneficiaries;

·                        Barry Town Council – advice on making better use of Barry Memorial Hall, culminating in the appointment of an Arts Marketing Officer.

Other projects undertaken with Community Enterprise Wales include:

·                        Voluntary Action Cardiff: Management audit, business and organisational review, including members and major sponsors and funders.

·                        Blaenau Gwent County Council: Community consultation by written questionnaire, scripted telephone surveys and personal interviews, future development of Metropole Theatre, Abertillery;

·                        Torfaen County Borough Council : Feasibility study for St Peter’s Schools, Blaenavon;

·                        Valley and Vale Community Arts Ltd:  Management Review and Audit;

·                        Amelia Trust Farm feasibility study;

·                        Wrexham County Borough Council: successful Capital Challenge bid for Plas Madoc;

·                        Conwy County Council: Business development plans for Social Exclusion Project Officer, Peulwys;

·                        Arts Council of Wales: External Monitor and Skills Audit of Merthyr Video Workshop;

Mrs Beaudette is a Governor of Barry Comprehensive School in the Vale of Glamorgan
