Who Am I ?

The Basics:

I was born in Chester, England in April 1965 (hence aged 34 for the time being).

I'm a single male, 1.8 meters high, slim. Brown hair, blue eyes.

I was brought up in the Leatherhead area of Surrey, except for a couple of years in Iran during the seveties. For the last few years I've been based in Watford.

BA (hons.) in Electrical and Information Science, 1987

Occupation:

I'm a 'Systems Engineer' working for Digital Applications Internations Ltd. The job involves the specification, design, development and deployment of industrial computer systems. We specialise in bespoke systems development and consultancy in a number of fields including supervisory control, materials handling, data aquisition, validation.

My own particular areas of expertise include:

• C++ programming under Windows, DOS, OS/2 and VMS
• Relational Databases (SQL Server and Oracle)
• 4GL tools such as SQLWindows
• communications protocols
• language analysis using lex and yacc
• Windows NT networking and administration
• TCP/IP networks

Hobbies:

• Organ playing - I am one of the regular organists at St. Mary's Church, Watford.
• MIDI - why not have a listen to some of my Bach MIDI files ?
• Walking
• Photography
• DIY
