Harbury Folk Club's 'Elements' Concert - January 26th, 2019

Following the success of our seven previous annual concerts, Harbury Folk Club presented another sell-out concert in Harbury Village Hall on Saturday 26th January 2019.  The performers were the Harbury Folk Club Choir and Orchestra, The Harvesters, Ted & Sue Crum, Maureen Darby, Peter McDonald, Pete & Liz Bones, Rumble-o, Morris Oxford and the Daft Dames with MC, Debbie Ellis.  In total, the eight Folk Club concerts have now raised well over 6000 for Harbury Village Hall.

Christmas Eve Carol Service
For the 32nd successive year, the Harbury Folk Club Choir contributed two carols to the Carol Service in Harbury Church, on December 24th.  This year, the songs were the traditional 'My Dancing Day' followed by 'For to us a Child is Born' from the musical 'The Inn Crowd' by Roger Jones.

Concert in Byfield - May 19th, 2018
The Harbury Folk Club Choir took part, along with three other singing groups, in a concert on Saturday, May 19th, in Byfield Village Hall.  We were joined by the Last Chord Singers (Byfield's community choir), Multivoce from Banbury and Dukes Ukes (Daventry's ukulele band).  For the finale we all sang 'Deadwood Stage' together, complete with a rousing Yee-Haa at the end!  Our thanks to Pat Cannell for masterminding the concert.
