May Day at Chesterton Windmill, 2002

Dippy was well turned out, complete with bell-pads.  He looks a little wide-eyed already but no clue yet about his antics to come.  At least he seems to be warmer than the dancers ......

..... our regular birthday girl, Mrs Leeman, was a perfect choice for 'Mal of the Mill' .....

..... then we finished off as usual with Bonny Green Garters  .....

..... seen from a distance to remind ourselves of the striking mill .....

..... and finally we're smiling in anticipation of that excellent breakfast to follow .....

..... and eventually Dippy was caught and came back to the mill for his photograph, just after sunrise.
