Harbury Garden Walkabout 1999

3 pictures of the Hereburgh team in action (or is that "inaction"?) during the Harbury Garden Walkabout on July 11th, 1999. Unlike 1998, the weather was magnificent.

Having danced outside The Dog Inn to a small audience, we moved on to "Bramley" and danced on the back lawn to an even smaller audience.  We were rewarded by Margaret's magnificent cream tea - homemade scones, jam and cakes with indecent amounts of double cream.  Celia's homemade lemonade was also very popular.

Because of the heat, we didn't do many dances so most of us found a shady corner to relax in.  Here you see Sue and Janny discussing the proposals for our summer kit, including the fetching rolled-down socks.
Celia's giant teapot came in very useful.  Every bike should have one fitted as standard.
A general shot of Hereburgh Morris hard at work, doing what we're best at.
