Welcome to my Website! Just for you, I have placed some of my images into slide shows that represent different genres of my work. To see them, just choose a link from the menu bar or from the panels in the left column.
Here are portraits of some of my friends and family. None are professional models! If you would like some images of yourself or loved ones, please contact me.
I have done portfolios for different people, ranging from singers, dancers, actors and in this set, two young twins, Anthony and Andrew who are both body-builders.
Most photographers "do" weddings - it goes with the territory. I know quite a few who won't do weddings and generally, they cite their reasons as the stress involved with conducting and capturing such an important event. I have my own theory - over and above the photographs, the photographer needs to be a "people person" and able to take control when emotions are runnings high and a cool, experienced head is required. I try to inject a little bit of fun into the proceedings that helps people to relax and allows me to capture some great images.
I wouldn't put myself in the same league as Darren Lyons but, I have snapped a few "celebs" in my time! So, here are a few shots from my Press-Call. I don't tend to do a lot of these events (not really my scene) but it can be quite a "buzz" pushing and elbowing ahead of some of the old (male), hardcore "paps" :)

"To capture the image and preserve the moment is my passion"
I love all kinds of photography. When I first started, I was right at home in the darkroom, continuously fascinated by the process of developing my own images. Nowadays, I mostly use digital and my preferred "hardware" is Canon. But, I still have my original Canon EOS5 and lovely medium-format Mamiya RZ67. If I had some spare cash, I would sincerely like a lovely Leica M8 to keep in my handbag!
I earned my photography degree at the University of Bolton where I met some really influential people who simply taught me to look at things differently.
I like to go to Caffe Nero, my favourite food is Italian and I am a sucker for Uncle Joe's Mintballs. I can sometimes be found crying whilst listening to the music of the beautiful but somewhat tortured Rufus Wainwright. If you would like to discuss anything photography-related with me, feel free!
