Sluice Road, looking west towards The Mulberry Tree. Sutleff's farmhouse and blacksmiths shop is on the right. The Blacksmiths shop was called "The Travus" and John Sutleff's son was the smith.

The Old Farmhouse was burnt down and replaced by the modern house, now occupied by local woodturner Gil Gudgeon. Modern bungalows occupy the remainder of the frontage. It is possible to locate the position of the old farmhouse, as the iron fence is still there and the gate can still be seen in the hedge at the front of the bungalow to the east of Gil Gudgeon's house.
