Teddyport was originally the brainchild of John and Margaret from Edinburgh. It all started at Christmas 2003 when Jayne was spending Christmas with Charlie and his family, who unfortunately unlike Jayne their favourite past time was not drinking fine wine and port.
John and Margaret realised this and were inspired to come up with the genius idea of hiding alcohol thus making Jayne look respectable (we all need some help somewhere)
They could have hidden it in a coca cola bottle or a brown paper bag as Jayne is used to. However they were too clever for this and concocted a way of making Jayne look even sweeter and more daughter-in-law like – by hiding it in a teddy bear and a good one at that (Frasers bears aren’t cheap)
