Welcome to North Leith Parish Church

Welcome to NLPCNorth Leith Parish Church is part of the Church of Scotland and serves a Parish covering the western half of the Leith Docks, and along the foreshore to Newhaven with the housing up to a mile inland.

We are a member of the Leith Churches Together and the Leith Churches Forum.

In our Parish, we seek to bring the good news and care of Christ to all.

Sunday Worship

North Leith Parish Church extends a warm welcome to everyone, and especially any visitors, who join us at our services.

Sunday Services of Worship:

Celebration of Easter 2014.
Over the course of the week up to Easter we share in a number of our services with friends form other congregations in the Leith area; if you are planning to come along to any of these please take note of the venue for each event.

Maundy Thursday
(17th April) - A service to remember the Last Supper of Jesus with His disciples.  This is a joint service with the Ebenezer United Free Church, and will take place in their building in Bangor Road at 7:30pm.

Good Friday (18th April) -  We gather to recall the crucifixion of Jesus.  This service will take place in the Session House (1a Madeira Place) at 7:30pm that night.

Easter Day - 11am - We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.  This is an informal, all-age, celebration held in the main church building.

Easter Day
- 6:30pm - Our celebrations continue; we are joined by Barry Barnett, a missionary from 'Jews for Jesus', who will be looking at 'Christ in the Passover' .  This service takes place at the Session House in Madiera Place.

Sunday 27th April
- A celebration of the Lord's Supper.  This service is conducted by the Rev'd. Douglas Paterson.

Our sevices are open to all, the believer and the curious alike.

We hope that you will join us in the church hall after the morning service for tea/coffee, and a chat.

Welcome to NLPC

Our prayer group meets every Sunday in the church hall from 10.30am to 10.45am. New 'pray-ers' are always welcome to join the group.
