Welcome to North Leith Parish ChurchNorth Leith Parish Church is part of the Church of Scotland and serves a Parish covering the western half of the Leith Docks, and along the foreshore to Newhaven with the housing up to a mile inland.
We are a member of the Leith Churches Together and the Leith Churches Forum.
In our Parish, we seek to bring the good news and care of Christ to all.
North Leith Parish Church extends a warm welcome to everyone, and especially any visitors, who join us at our services.
Sunday Services of Worship:
- Our morning service takes place at 11.00am in the main church
- Evening services take place only on the first Sunday of each month throughout the year at 6.30pm. These take place in the 'Session House' in Madeira Place.
23rd - Traditional morning service led by Rev Douglas Patterson, locum minister at London Road Church; our own minister will be leadin g worship there.
2nd March - Informal, family focussed, morning service led by guest worship leader Janet Mackenzie. The evening service, at 6:30pm at the Session House in Madeira Place, will be led by Calum Mackellar and Maitri Leach.
9th March - This Sunday we begin the countdown to the celebrations of Easter (April 20th). Service led by our minister.
Our sevices are open to all, the believer and the curious alike.
We hope that you will join us in the church hall after the morning service for tea/coffee, and a chat.
Our prayer group meets every Sunday in the church hall from 10.30am to 10.45am. New 'pray-ers' are always welcome to join the group.
