Sunday Prayer Group 10.30am Room 2, Church Hall
The Prayer Group meets at 10.30am on Sunday Mornings in Room 2 of the Church Hall, Madeira Street.
Creche 10.45am Room 2, Church Hall
A creche is available for any children under three whose parents wish to leave them during worship on Sunday Mornings. It is run by volunteers (members of the congregation) on a rota basis which involves being on duty once every for months. Anyone wishing to use the creche should come along to Room 2 in the Church Hall just before the service.

Morning Service is held at 11.00am in the Church.

Evening Service 6.30pm Church Hall
Evening Service is held at 6.30pm in the Session House, 1a Madeira Place (except June, July and August).
Monday Parent and Toddlers 9.30am Church Hall

Meets Monday and Thursday 9.30am - 11.30am for children from 0 to Nursery to come with a parent, grandparent or childminder. We have our own toys and encourage the children to share and play with others. We work towards preparing the children for Nursery. Adults also find new friends.

Volunteers staff the kitchen making tea and coffee, buttering rolls, etc. which is a real treat for those who attend.

You will always be made very welcome!

House Groups 8.00pm John and Julia McCaskey's home
 

The group meets at 16 Beresford Gardens on alternate Monday evenings at 8.00pm, concluding shortly after 10.00pm.

We enjoy each other's company and friendship in prayer, Bible readings and discussion from which we hope to learn more about God's word and how to implement it in our daily lives. We learn a lot from each other, including tolerance and patience and every viewpoint is welcome. Occasionally we listen to audio tapes or watch a video on religious topics, and always finish with a cup of tea and a chat. An annual fundraising is held, the proceeds going to a localor international charity or appeal.

New members are most welcome to the house group, which is open to people of all ages and all denominations, or none, who are interested in reading the Bible.

Tuesday
First Tuesday Group 7.30pm Church Hall
The First Tuesday Group meets on the first tuesday of each month in room 2 of the church hall, from 8 till 10 pm.
House Groups 8.00pm Jimmy and Margo Hudson's home

We meet at 37 Dudley Avenue on alternate Tuesdays at 8.00pm. Our main aim is to grow together as Christians, to share with and support each other and to give us an opportunity to talk about our faith.

A typical evening includes Bible study, discussion and prayers.

New members are welcome at any time.

Lunch Club 12.00pm Church Hall

The Lunch Club is designed to provide a hot meal for all pensioners in the congregation and parish, followed by tea and biscuits. Lunch is served at 12.00 noon in the Church Hall every Thursday. It does not operate during the holiday months of July and August and two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period.

As well as lunch, the club provides a meeting place for people - good company, food, fun and a warm welcome is extended to all.

Thursday Fellowship 2.00pm - 4.00pm Church Hall

Every Thursday at 2.00pm from September throughout the winter and spring, the Thursday Fellowship meets in the Church Hall. We have speakers on a whole range of varied topics, a short service, tea, biscuits and fellowship.

Vestry Hour 7.00pm Church Hall
The Minister has a Vestry Hour on Thursday evening from 7.00pm - 8.00pm in the Church Office, 1a Madeira Place.
Choir 7.30pm Church

We are an enthusiastic group who seek to server the Lord Jesus by singing together. Our aim is to lead the praise services of worship in the Church, singing an introit and anthem at the Morning Service and to present occasional services of praise.

We sing a wide range of music to cater for all tastes, meeting for practice on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm in the Session House and before the morning service at 10.30am in the Church.

Boy's Brigade

Each section carries out various craft, physical and adventure activities during the Boys Brigade Session, September - May. The BB aims to encourage boys to gain valuable habits of obedience, reverence, self discipline and self respect through each of its sections.

  Rainbows

Rainbows is for five to seven year old girls and aims to promote team play and activities in a weekly club atmosphere.

Many go on to join the Girl Guides Association.

The girls have great fun. Come and join us!
